Digitization of Rare Objects

The UC Davis Library has many rare and unique items housed in their Archives and Special Collections department that cannot be physically loaned out beyond the library walls. When a library user needs to spend more time with an item or include imagery in a research publication, or when the library wants to promote an exhibit or new acquisition, these items are scanned or photographed to provide digital access.

When items are either too fragile or large to be scanned, I provide photographic digitization. These are some samples of that work.
