UC Davis Aggie Experts

Aggie Experts provides a single point of discovery for research and scholarship expertise and professional information about UC Davis faculty and scholars.

My team is building a platform that integrates information about publications, grants, academic affiliation, external websites describing faculty research, and general research areas. The functionality of the system is currently in private beta with the MVP version of the product planned to launch publicly later this year.

A private pilot is being conducted with a subset of university academic departments, starting with the College of Engineering. Rolling out the platform department by department allows us to collect feedback that guide user interface improvements and further development, and we will continue our close work with faculty as we move past the pilot phase.

I am the sole UX and UI designer on this project.
