Single point of discovery for research and scholarship expertise and professional information about UC Davis faculty and scholars.

Overview

Aggie Experts integrates information about publications, grants, academic affiliation, external websites describing faculty research, and general research areas.

A private pilot is being conducted with a subset of university academic departments, starting with the College of Engineering. Rolling out the platform department by department allows us to collect feedback that guide user interface improvements and further development, and we will continue our close work with faculty as we move past the pilot phase.

Project Priorities:

Integrate existing faculty research data from other UC Davis sources • Facilitate discovery of collaborators, mentors and experts • Faculty control of their own profiles • Access to research found nowhere else • Exportable and reusable data
