Boston Mill Society Brand Identity

I collaborated with three other designers to produce a brand identity for the Boston Mill Society. The Boston Mill Society is a nonprofit organization interested in preserving the historic Thompson’s Mill located in Shedd, Oregon (established in 1858) and educating the public on the historical importance of the site in a way that can inform the future. 

They desired a brand identity that could encompass and unify the various aspects of the organization, including the mill itself, without completely losing individual identities of the group. This resulted in an identity system that centered around a common core image of the mill itself paired with an iconic image that represented each of the major stakeholders involved.
